What You'll See

The Giza plateau holds three great pyramids, a field of smaller tombs and the most famous statue on Earth.

🔺

The Great Pyramid of Khufu

Built around 2560 BC from roughly 2.3 million stone blocks, it was the tallest structure made by humans for nearly 4,000 years.

🦁

The Great Sphinx

Carved from a single limestone outcrop, the lion with a pharaoh's head has guarded the plateau for over 45 centuries.

🏛️

Pyramid of Khafre

Slightly smaller than Khufu's, but standing on higher ground. It still keeps part of its original polished casing at the top.

🐪

The Panorama Point

A desert ridge with a view of all nine pyramids lined up together, and the best photo stop of the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time of day to visit the pyramids?

Early morning, right at opening time. It is cooler and less crowded. Late afternoon is also good for golden-hour photos.

Can I go inside the Great Pyramid?

Yes. Entry to the inner chambers needs a separate ticket bought on site. The passage is narrow and steep, so it is not recommended for people with claustrophobia or heart conditions.

What should I wear?

Comfortable walking shoes, light breathable clothing, a hat and sunglasses. Bring sunscreen; there is very little shade on the plateau.

Do you pick up from hotels?

Yes, pickup and drop-off are included from hotels in Cairo and Giza. Tell us your hotel when you book.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour starts.
